Kenya AA Gulmarg Estate - Washed

AA is Kenya's top bean-size grade — the largest screen size, reserved for cherries that matured slowly and developed the most concentrated flavour. This lot comes from Gulmarg Estate in Kenya's highlands, processed using the country's traditional double-fermentation washed method: cherries are pulped, fermented, washed, fermented again, then dried slowly on raised beds. That extra step is what gives Kenyan coffee its trademark clarity and acidity.

Expect blackcurrant, bright red grapefruit, a juicy, tomato-like sweetness, and a wine-like, syrupy body with a long, tangy finish — one of the most distinctive cups in the range.

This single-origin arabica is a benchmark for anyone exploring Kenya AA coffee. Best as filter, V60, or espresso, where its acidity and fruit are most vivid.
